This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I've always been artsy. when I was in school that fact made itself most manifest in the things I wrote and drew.
In 2003 or somewhere there about years of battling failing sight had rendered me legally blind (20-1500).
In the space between 03' and 05' the word's work stayed, but I stopped drawing altogether..
Science however has a way of catching up with you, and through the ever advancing field of optics something close to normal sight was restored to me with correction (20-40).
Over the years since that number has refined down to 20-20 in both eyes... I began to doodle again, and for a few years that was all I did, afraid that there was a step in that time without that had been lost to me -- nervous that I wouldn't have anything but distant glimpses of the ability I had at the tail end of High School...
Frustration and the constant urgings of those close to me has brought me back... I'm trying to do a finished piece every other week.
I distrust the return in a lot of ways, so I'm not making any real investments into technology until I'm sure I have something here -- that means all my art is fairly low budget.
The process starts on a white board in dry erase marker, it's then captured on my camera phone and transferred into MSpaint.
